Starlight headliners in Cumming, Marietta & Alpharetta
A night sky above the seats: fiber-optic stars placed by hand and trimmed flush with your headliner. Packages run from $379 for 250 stars to $2,349 for 3,000.

What a starlight headliner actually is
A starlight headliner is a ceiling of fiber-optic strands. Each strand passes through the headliner board, and its end sits flush with the fabric as a single point of light. The strands run back to a small light engine hidden above the headliner or behind trim.
That means no electricity at the stars themselves. Only light travels through the fibers, and the light engine stays out of sight.
Done well, it looks like the car was ordered that way. Done badly, you get sagging fabric, fibers that pull back through, and a light engine rattling somewhere overhead. The difference is almost entirely in the install.

Shooting stars
A shooting star is a streak of light that crosses the headliner every so often, instead of a point that holds steady. They are an add-on to a starlight package, not an install on their own.

How we install it
Six stages, same order every time. Skipping any of them is how starlight goes wrong.
Plan the sky
We map the star layout around your dome light, grab handles, and any sunroof.
Drop the headliner
Pillar trim, visors, and lights come out so the headliner can leave the car in one piece.
Place every fiber
Each strand goes through the board by hand, then gets set so it can't pull back through.
Mount the light source
The light engine is mounted out of sight, clear of airbags and away from heat.
Reinstall and trim flush
The headliner goes back up, every fiber is cut flush with the fabric, and trim clips back in.
Walk you through it
We show you the controls with you in the seat before you drive away.
Will it work in my car?
Most sedans, coupes, SUVs, and trucks are good candidates. We've built skies in everything from a Maserati to a Kenworth cab. Full-size SUVs and crew-cab trucks give you the biggest sky.
A few things change the plan: panoramic glass roofs, large overhead consoles, rear-seat entertainment screens, and some convertible tops. None of those are guesses we'll make on the phone. Send your year, make, and model, and we'll tell you what fits.
Why this isn't a weekend kit
- Airbags live up there
- Side curtain airbags run along the roof rails. Fibers, wiring, and the light engine have to stay clear of their deployment path.
- Headliners are fragile
- The board creases, and the fabric lifts if the wrong adhesive or too much heat gets near it. A creased headliner can't be un-creased.
- Loose fibers show
- Fibers that aren't set properly pull back through over time, leaving dark holes in the sky. Proper setting is slow work, and it's the part that lasts.

How much does a starlight headliner cost?
Starlight packages are exact prices, from $379 for 250 stars to $2,349 for 3,000 stars, and the 1,000-star package ($899) is the most popular. Shooting stars, a custom logo, suede and ambient lighting are priced separately on top of your package, and a few items (the logo, suede pillars, the door & dash ambient package) are starting prices that depend on the vehicle. Send your year, make, and model and we confirm your exact total.
How many stars should I choose?
250 to 500 stars gives a subtle, clean sky. 600 to 1,200 is fuller and deeper, and 1,000 stars ($899) is the most popular package. 1,500 and up is high-density coverage, up to 3,000 stars for a showroom look. Shooting stars are an add-on to any package rather than a separate install: 5 for +$199, 10 for +$299, 15 for +$399, 20 for +$499, 30 for +$699, or 50 for +$899.
Does a starlight headliner damage my headliner?
Starlight means making a small hole through the headliner board for each fiber. Done properly, the fabric stays tight and clean and every fiber sits flush. It is a permanent change to that headliner, which is exactly why placement and technique matter.
Can you add a custom logo or a suede headliner?
Yes. Custom fiber-optic logos start at +$249: vehicle logos, initials, symbols, or your own design, priced by size and complexity. A suede headliner is +$299 on a standard vehicle and +$449 on a large vehicle or SUV, with suede pillars starting at +$199.
What optional add-ons can I put on top?
Twinkle effect +$199, Dimming controller +$149, Color changing (RGBW) +$199, Door handle lights +$149, and Under seat lighting +$199. They are optional upgrades to a starlight or ambient installation, added to your package price.
What vehicles can you work on, and how long does it take?
Most cars, trucks, and SUVs. Panoramic roofs, overhead consoles, and some convertible tops change what is possible, so we look at your exact year, make, and model first. Timing depends on the vehicle and the work — for starlight the headliner comes out of the car and every fiber is placed by hand — and we confirm drop-off and pick-up with your quote.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every starlight and ambient lighting installation is backed by a 2-year warranty.
Can I get a suede headliner without a starlight install?
Yes. Suede is sold on its own as well as alongside a starlight package. The headliner still comes out of the car either way, so it is quoted separately — send your year, make, and model and we will confirm the price.
