Built into the sky, not stuck onto it
A fiber-optic logo is drawn the same way the stars are: fibers through the headliner board, set and trimmed flush. The shape is mapped onto the board before a single hole is made, because the outline has to survive the curve of the roof and land where you will actually see it from the seat.
With the lights off it is invisible. With them on, it reads as a shape in the middle of a star field.

Every fiber in the shape goes in by hand, tight enough that the line stays crisp.

Trim and test
Cut flush, lit, and checked from the driver's seat before the headliner goes back up.

Where can a fiber-optic logo go in the car?
Anywhere on the headliner that is flat enough to hold the shape and clear of the dome light, grab handles, and a sunroof opening. Above the rear seats is the most common spot, because that is where there is the most uninterrupted roof. We map the position on your vehicle before anything is drilled.
